Wiggling and Waggling

On Sunday me and mom got up very early and went for a ride. We went to a place called the Rose Bowl. It was very exciting because we were going to do the Wiggle Waggle Walk!

Thanks to all our friends, mom and I raised $615.00! That's a lot of scooby snacks! But we didn't use the money for treats, we donated it to the Pasadena Humane Society so that they could use it to rescue dogs and cats and other animals that need forever homes.

Any how there were so many other doggies at the walk that I was very nervous, I even growled some, but not because I was mad, because I was nervous. I have never seen so many different dogs! There were big ones, and little ones and hairy ones and ones with no hair at all. Some were wearing clothes, sweaters, and jackets and hats! I was wearing a scarf, but almost everyone was wearing a scarf. But I did notice there were not very many pit bulls there, and there were NO pretty pink ones like me.
I did meet a new friend named Bruin, she was very nice, but I am not sure that she liked me very much. Maybe I can see her again soon.

Well we want to tell everyone that next year we are going to raise even more money! Thank you if you sposored us. And if you didn't maybe next year you can!

New House

Well today I found out about our new house. Mom was gone all morning, and it is her day off so she is supposed to take us for a walkies. We knew something was up. She was at our new house. It is only a block away! Which means we can have lots of the same smells on our walks, which is good. Don't want to have to mark up a whole new neighborhood! Although Roscoe does, he likes to do that!

Well looks like we are going to have a yard with grass now! Which is really good, cuz I never have had grass. Mom doesn't have grass, and the rescue I came from was in Venice beach, no grass there either. I hope I don't eat too much of it. But I have heard that it feels good to roll around it!

Dog begins Blog

Yes, I am a Pit Bull. Sometimes we have a "bad rap", however I am here to help change that and to talk about me. Yes, me, and perhaps my human and k-9 room mates, who are not pit bulls. They are terriers, or as I like to call them, terrorists.

I came to live with my human almost a year ago. She brought me home from Paw'd Squad Rescue, who found me on the streets of South Central Los Angeles (not a nice place). My human had recently lost her puppy, um I mean daughter named Nat, and before she died she had wanted to adopt a pink pit bull puppy and name it Daisy. My human decided to do so, fortunately for me, even though it was a sad time in her life. So here I am. And not only am I a lovely shade of pink, but I have the outstanding trait of a "Dudley Nose".

Yesterday was this puppy's, um I mean Nat's, birthday, she would have been 22 years old! My human celebrated by going out to eat raw fish, sushi it is called, she took the rest of the litter with her, um I mean siblings. I think it made her feel better, as they all came back feeling very happy. The terrorists think it might have been something called Saki that helps with the mood. Since they, the terrorists, have been around quite a bit longer than I have, I sometimes have to defer to their wealth of knowledge , even though I hate doing it. Pit Bulls are proud, but not stupid and I have alot to learn.
